Instructors
Geneive Burley
Genieve started her fitness career as a spinning instructor and conditioning specialist while completing her education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She moved to Vancouver in 2006 and fell in love with the outdoors, taking up running half marathons and completing her Yoga teacher training. She continues to be actively involved in the Vancouver fitness community, from ballet to boxing.
Her love of chiropractic and Yoga allowed her to combine the two disciplines by teaching Yoga teacher trainings and yoga retreats internationally. She also works with non-profit organizations such as Karma Teachers, BC Cancer Foundation and the The Dance Centre in Vancouver.
Genieve is passionate about spreading wellness through nutrition, movement and Yoga.
Annedi
Annedi is a professional journalist and a graduate from Karma Teachers 200-hour Yoga teacher training in Vancouver, BC. Originally from Paris, she studied journalism in the French capital as well as in New York city where she discovered Yoga. Back in France, she started to intensify her practice exploring Pilates, running and aquabiking. She also has a 10-year background in ballet and modern jazz, as well as a 8-year background in swimming.
Looking for a better lifestyle far from the Parisian stress and the media industry, she moved to the Canadian West Coast in 2014 where she reconnected with Yoga. She is now teaching a weekly hatha flow class at Karma Teachers and also offers private sessions in English or French.
Fred
