Tulum - Mexico Past Reset Retreat – Tulum
A 5-night Retreat from November 4-9, 2020, that’s intended to kickstart your metabolism to give you more energy, help burn more calories at rest, aid in digestion and promote proper hormone and neurotransmitter production. Look forward to calorie burning mornings and meditative afternoons set in the beautiful town of Tulum. We love the idea of doing this reset right before the holidays start and winter sets in.
Location
All the villas are located directly on the beach. The beaches of Tulum are natural, unique and offer an incredible atmosphere to relax and appreciate the beauty that surrounds them. If you are looking for various activities during your trip, our homes are close to wonderful handicraft boutiques, authentic and innovative restaurants and countless small bars and cafes along the seashore that make Tulum such a famous destination. All you need to do is bring your curiosity as there is an incredible world to discover here.
Food & Beverage
The food we will be providing on the retreat will be plant-based, and full of macro and micro nutrients to elevate your fitness potential, promote a healthy digestive system and reduce inflammation in the body. There will be no compromise in taste or satiety of the food, we are all foodies and love our meals, we can’t wait to share our love of healthy and delicious food with you.
Activities
Classes
Our mornings will consist of a different conditioning class everyday, which include strength, cardiovascular and mobility work. Be prepared to sweat!
In the late afternoons we will have a relaxing class designed to tone and pacify the nervous system, stretch the fascia, muscles and connective tissues, meditation and breath work.
Adventure
Our property is directly on the ocean, giving your ample opportunity to relax, swim and take walks. We also have access to stand up paddle boards on property, sea kayaks, boogie boards to use free of charge. A pool on-site also provides you with cool and calm vibes to connect with the group or read your book.
We also have the chance to take our shuttle in to town to shop, look around, meet some locals, and take in the culture.
Dinners Out
After two nights at home enjoying our chef’s incredible meals and getting to know one another, we will have the chance to experience some dinner’s out. Two nights of the retreat we will indulge in the beautiful culture and restaurants around Tulum.
Our time together culminates in a final dinner at the villa.

The Team
Genieve
Genieve is a Chiropractor ,Yoga Instructor, and movement enthusiast with a background in training, conditioning and wellness. She is based in Vancouver and runs yoga retreats and teacher trainings internationally. Genieve is a passionate and well sought-after plant-based expert in Vancouver and works to integrate full body wellness through her bodywork practice and lifestyle.
Marika
In 2010 Marika Richoz left her job behind a desk and started a secret supper club/underground restaurant called the Birds Nest. Since then she has been hosting brunches/dinners along with private and personal catering jobs. She has cooked abroad, for celebrities, a heli skiing lodge and catered weddings. She teaches cooking classes and loves to bring people together and connect through food and nourishment.
Deanne
Deanne Schweitzer is a runner, swimmer, skier, TurF’r and mother of 4 children. A culture-centric entrepreneur, Deanne was part of the team that built the Lululemon brand. She spent 15 years designing product that would change the way we dressed. Always focused on personal growth and healthy living, Deanne loves to create a vision and inspire a team to bring it to life.
Booking
All of our packages include twice daily movement classes, pre-workout morning fuel up, big fuel brunch, afternoon snacks, pre-dinner drink, 3 dinners at the Villa, pool access, transportation to/from aiport, swag bags, SUP boards/kayaks/boogie boards, and accommodations.
Not included are 2 dinners out, bala bangles (pre-purchase required and given discount code), alcohol, yoga mat, any gratuities for villa staff, shopping, insurance or transportation/activities not mentioned.
